Our Father’s House. . . a place of His presence

“A People of His Glory..Jesus Christ was entirely God.  He was not a created being.  Yet He became a man and lived entirely within man’s limitations.  His ability to demonstrate power, walk on water, and carry out countless other other divine manifestations was completely due to the fact he was without sin and was totally yielded to the Holy Spirit.  He became the model for everyone who would experience the cleansing of sin by the blood of Jesus.  The forgiveness that God gives puts every believer in a place without sin.  The question that remains is how empowered by the Holy Spirit we are willing to be.  Most of all the experiences of Jesus recorded in Scripture were prophetic examples of the realms in God that are made available to the believer.”

Have a blessed week, filled with the favor of God - Pastor K

“I Am Significant”

As I prayed for the World’s Strongest Redneck, Praise Project and others on the morning of Iron Sharpens Iron the thought crossed my mind that I was not worthy to be praying for men who I considered to be more Godly, or to have served God much longer and better than I had. I knew that what I was doing was the right thing to do but that small doubt was there in the back of my mind.
At the end of the day as everyone was packing up after Iron Sharpens Iron, I stopped to say hello to Art Remington. As we talked he made me feel important and loved and treated me as if I was a significant part of the body of Christ. As I thought about this over the next few hours, I realized that one of the things holding me back was the thought that I was not good enough. I had not done enough for God and I remembered the years wasted when I was more interested in other pleasures than I was about doing God’s will.
I believe that one of Satan’s methods of keeping us from fulfilling the destiny God has put into our lives is to make us feel like we are not good enough. I know the doubt and the feelings of not being worthy are prompted by the lies of Satan. I have heard Pastor Gary say he had thoughts that he should not pray for a pastor who appeared to be more successful than he was. In this case Gary prayed for him anyway. He listened to God and not the nagging doubt Satan tries to speak into our lives. We need to learn to listen only to the Master’s voice and realize how much we are loved and valued by God. Our prayers are not about us or what we have done. They are about God and what He has done for us through His Son, and about us yielding to His will and His direction in our lives. We need to remember that in Isaiah 61 it says “He has clothed us with garments of salvation and arrayed us in a robe of righteousness.” I pray that each day we are obedient to God and bold as a lion in speaking His words into the lives of others. God has a plan for our lives. I believe that plan is beyond what we can imagine. He loved us so much He sent his son to die on the cross for our sins. He loves us too much to leave us where we are. He has plans to prosper us and only desires good things for us. The bible tells me that Jesus loves me and I am significant.
